How can I add fees to my BoxOffice Sales?

Learn how to have your VenuePilot BoxOffice App configured to offer the ability to add and remove fees to match online sales

By default your VenuePilot Box Office app is set to sell tickets without service fees. While many venues offering a 'cash-and-carry' solution will find this helpful, box office fees can be needed if you plan to take credit cards!

Transferring credit card fees to your customers at the box office ensures that these charges are not subtracted from your sales before settlement. Additionally, if you are utilizing our All-in-Pricing feature, having box office fees in place will help ensure that any door sales are consistent with your pricing structure. 

 

  • Start by reaching out to us via Chat or by emailing clientsupport@venuepilot.co to have your account set up to use Box Office Fees.

  • Once we have confirmed your account is ready, you will see the changes reflected in your events on the Box Office App
  • Tapping the + sign will add tickets to the cart.
  • Tapping the - sign will remove them.
  • Tap discount to apply a previously-built discount code.
  • Use the check boxes to select if you would like to *charge Sales Tax, CC Processing, or any additional Royalties set up prior by our Client Support team.
  • Tap charge to bring up the purchase modal for cash or credit.
