# Using VenuePilot as Ticketing Staff
## VenuePilot's platform and Box Office app makes selling and scanning tickets a breeze. You can even settle cash drawers
As ticketing staff, your main goal is to make the box office experience a worry-free experience for your guests. Our new **Box Office app** allows you to **sell tickets at the box office** prior to the day of show as well as **at the door the night of the show**. We offer the ability to take both **credit and cash payments** at the box office and our app is compatible with **Stripe M-2 readers**. VenuePilot also makes **settling cash** at the end of the night a simple process. When it comes to scanning tickets, the Box Office app is your best friend. We offer three ways you can scan in guests: 1) **scan their qr code** using the camera icon in the Box Office app, 2) **swipe their name** in the attendee list, and 3) **check off their name** in the attendee list. Once a ticket has been scanned, the 'tickets scanned' number will update.
