Allotments and Limits

Next, set the allotment*. If you created a ticket section (see below), you can select that here, or create a standalone allotment for this ticket.

*An allotment is the amount of ticket inventory available for a certain price point or ticket(s) within a ticket section.

You can also add an optional description that will show up directly beneath the ticket name on the purchase page.

Next, add an optional ticket min and max amount. This sets a minimum and maximum amount of tickets that one customer can purchase. You can also set an amount of tickets to be sold in multiples (i.e. in sets of 2, 3, etc.)

If you need to create a discount code for a ticket, you can do so here as well (see Create a Discount or Promo Code).

Click save, and the event page will reload with your ticketing info.

If your event requires shared inventory between multiple tickets, select Add Section. Here, you can add as many section as you need (ex: Floor, Raised Balcony, etc).

Sections are groups of inventory. They allow you to set one inventory amount and allocate it to multiple kinds of tickets. So if you're selling GA vs VIP, using price tiering, or have different ticket prices for Advance and Day of Show, sections are for you!
