What are ticket sections?
Ticket sections are flexible blocks of inventory in VenuePilot. They're designed to let you sell multiple ticket types from one block of inventory. Our venue partners use them to create sections, tier their ticket pricing, or establish different prices for advance and day of show tickets.
How do I make a Ticket Section?
Create a ticket section while building your event. Under Tickets, you can either Add Section from the Tickets menu:
or you can create them while building a ticket type.
How do I add a ticket to a section?
When adding or editing a ticket, choose the Section button and then select the section from the Ticket Section menu.
You can also add quantity limits to individual ticket types within the section if needed.
