Setting up Fees on VenuePilot

VenuePilot gives you unprecedented control over your venue's fees — here's how to use them.

1. Set your processing and tax fees when building your venue

• Before you can sell any tickets on VenuePilot, you'll need to build a venue.
• The last step in building a venue allows you to add venue level fees for each of your rooms. Set the processing fee according to your processor (Stripe lists their pricing here) and add any taxes you are required to collect in the "tax fee" field.

2. Turn your processing and tax fees on when building an event

• Once you've built your event, you will be able to turn your processing and tax fees on per event, or save them in a template to populate automatically. The arrows below show you where to look when editing your event. First, click edit, then scroll to the bottom to select/deselect the fees.

3. Add any additional per ticket fees to your tickets

• When you build your ticket types, you will have the option to include a fee of your choosing. This field immediately follows the price field.
