# Reports: By Day
## Once you have your event on sale and selling, use VenuePilot's "By Day" report to see each upcoming day's sales at a glance.
### **Access The Report**
- To view this report, click on **Reports** across the top bar and then **By Day from the sub menu.**
### **Selecting a Date Range**
- In the upper left-hand corner, **view the selected dates for this report**.
- **By default, the most recent calendar week** will be selected.
- Click the **downward pointing arrow** to open the **date selector** **and select your dates.**
- The report should **update automatically.**
- **In the Below example:**
- **Date Range:** Jan 1 - Feb 28 2025.
- **\*Day Start:** Set to 12:00AM
- **\*\*Sale By Sales Channel: Overall is selected.** You can also choose to only view Online or Box Office sales.
***\*Selecting a "Day Starts" Time***
- Some establishments prefer to have the day turn over **at a time other than midnight,** to capture events that run past midnight, or to match the time the bar closes. Click on the **clock icon next to the date selector** to change this time. The report should **update automatically**
**\*\*Sorting By Sales Channel**
- In the upper right-hand corner, you will see three options for sorting by sales channel: **Overall** (both Online and Box Office Sales), **Online** (sales completed online) and **Box Office** (Sales made at the door using the VenuePilot app).
