# How to Connect Your AI Agent or App to VenuePilot Data via Google Sheets
## Leverage your AI's Google Drive connector and VenuePilot's Data Export to talk to your Data with your favorite chat interface!
**How to Connect Your AI Agent or App to VenuePilot Data via Google Sheets**
**How It Works**``
1. **VenuePilot** syncs operational data for sync into a dedicated **Google Sheet**.
2. **Google Sync / Refresh** pushes the latest door, ticket, and scan metrics to **Google Drive**.
3. Your **AI Agent** reads across sheets to query metrics, track trends, and answer questions conversationally. If real-time data is needed, the AI agent can trigger a browser action to click VenuePilot's **Refresh** button on command.
**Getting Started**
**1. Verify or Set Up the VenuePilot Google Sheet Sync**

Before connecting your AI agent, confirm that live VenuePilot data is feeding into your Google Drive:
- Log into **VenuePilot** and navigate to **Settings \> Integrations**.
- Select **Google Sync / Google Sheets** and authorize your Google account.
- Verify that the generated sheet appears in your Google Drive.

**2. Understand Data Refreshing & On-Demand Sync**
Note: VenuePilot requires a manual refresh to push the latest live numbers into your sheet, **however you may be able to automate this with your AI Chat provider.**
- **Manual Trigger:** In the VenuePilot integration dashboard, click the **Refresh** button once. This immediately updates the linked Google Sheet with the latest door scans and sales figures.
- **Automated Trigger (AI Browser Agent):** If your AI platform supports web automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, or browser control plugins), you can give your AI agent steps to log into VenuePilot and click the **Refresh** button autonomously before answering live queries.
**3. Locate Your Synced File in Google Drive**
- Open Google Drive using the account tied to your VenuePilot integration.
- Locate the main VenuePilot export spreadsheet.
- Ensure the spreadsheet file permissions allow access to whichever account or service user your AI platform uses.
**4. Connect Your AI Agent to Google Drive**
- In your AI agent platform (e.g., OpenAI Workspace, Claude, Custom GPT, or automation tool), select **Add Knowledge / Data Source**.
- Choose **Google Drive** or **Google Sheets** as the integration connector.
- Authenticate and grant the AI agent access to the specific VenuePilot spreadsheet file or folder.
**5. Start Querying Across Your Data**
Once connected, the AI agent reads the individual tabs within your sheet like relational database tables. You can ask cross-tab queries naturally:
- *"Refresh VenuePilot, then tell me how many tickets were sold in the last 30 days."*
- *"What are our top 3 highest-grossing events this month based on ticket sales?"*
- *"Summarize overall attendance vs. total capacity across all active event tabs."*
