# How do I request a refund?
## VenuePilot requires permission directly from our event organizers to authorize any refunds.
### **👀Please Note:**
If you feel you need to request a refund of your purchase, **please reach out to the venue or event organizer directly**. While VenuePilot provides the technology that many venues rely on, **we are not authorized to issue refunds for customers without our event organizers' written permission.** Thank you! 👍
To request a refund directly from the venue or event organizer, we suggest **heading directly to the contact portion of their webpage, or by doing a quick search online.**
Please ensure you send them the following information:
- **Event Name**
- **Event Date**
- **Email address**
- **Order #**
- **First and Last Name**
- **Last 4 digits of the credit card used to purchase**
