The Settlement module allows you to track artist deals, Tax information, make deposits and payments, and automatically creates a settlement sheet for you to provide the artist.
Create a Settlement Sheet
At some point during the confirmation process you will likely establish a settlement deal with the performing talent. You can use the settlement tool in Venuepilot to structure and keep track of the deal.
Navigate to the event that requires a settlement deal. Once you have selected the event scroll down to the artist section of the page and click on the dollar sign next to the artist in question.
Once inside the settlement tool you can either select the show you would like to settle or create a deal for and VenuePilot will automatically pull ticket sales, or you can manually input the GBOR (gross box office receipts) information. If you have a show that is repeated across multiple days you can settle day by day, or all at once.
Deal Structure
Now it's time to choose a structure for the deal. VenuePilot offers 6 standard deal options to choose from.
Navigate to the "Ticket Deal" section and click on the drop down menu.
Once you have selected the type of deal, you can customize the details as necessary.
VenuePilot also allows you the option to add Bar Deals, Rental Deals, and Custom Expenses.
Once you have structured your deal, you can add all the tax information at the bottom of the screen, and you are all set to settle.
At the end of the show you can generate a Settlement Report.
This Settlement Sheet will pull together everything you need to close out the show.
